ReplyDeleteLong story short; after my husband being unfaithful again...me and my two little kids have had to move back into my parents home. Problem is that their house went through a flood a few years back...and that fact along with the old carpeting in the upstairs, and a long haired dog means that my allergies and asthma are really acting up now. ReplyDeleteI am potty-training twin girls, and this would really help me keep my bathroom as clean as it should be during this endeavor. We spend so much time in there now, and its made me realize how gross the grout is, and the floor. I clean it, but I don't think it is as clean in there as it could be. I would LOVE to be able to steam it - I don't like to use chemicals in places my kids spend a lot of time, and right now, we are spending a LOT of time in the bathroom!

As the others have stated, I think any mom with small children (I have 2) needs a way to clean thoroughly, safely and without harmful chemicals. But, in addition to the typical cleaning needs of a family with kids, our family has the compelling reason that we live full-time in Mexico (Baja, California) where we run a non-profit free community clinic and volunteer at a local orphanage.
ReplyDeleteWe are constantly exposed to bacteria and viruses (from seeing sick patients) as well as the "germs" from being part of a family of over 100 children at the orphanage. In addition, we battle fleas, bugs, lice, mold, dust and recently had a bed bug scare that made me realize I need to really find a way to get our home clean and sanitized without pesticides and chemicals and I can't wait to try the steam cleaner!

And I also have ducks and chickens and 2 more dogs outside!! I could use this for everything!!! I have wanted a way to keep chemicals out of the house! I am a mother and pet owner and would be elated to have a universal cleaning product that over time would pay for itself!!! A couple months ago, my 3 month old was diagnosed with Salmonella poisoning which can last up to 12 months in her system and if not careful, she could contract it again or one of our other family members. I do not want to go through that again! I would feel much more at peace if I knew I could clean every surface of my home and make it completely sanitary for my family.
ReplyDeleteI am also the go to person for my friends and family when they need recommendations for good deals. I insist on researching items before I buy to get the best value. If this product performs like it claims to- I would be their voluntary spokesperson. I have had several friends complain to me about how they spend hours cleaning and are not happy with the results. I would love to tell my friends about a product that will not only cut down on their cleaning time but is much safer for their families. My family has also been trying to "go green" and I can't think of a better way than to replace all my cleaning chemicals and their plastic containers with a reuseable steam cleaner. I think steam cleaners are a step in the right direction for healthcare and the environment and I would LOVE to own one!
This steamer would change my life because it would free up so much of my time that is spent on cleaning. My daughter has an immunodeficiency, and I do my best to keep our house safe and clean for her, it takes up quite a bit of my free time around the house that I would much rather spend playing with her.

Having a 2 yr old and a dog pretty much speaks for itself. I rarely seem to have enough time to get everything clean and I think this would be extremely helpful in the process. My son gets everything messy and our dog is always licking our floor so when I clean, I have to go through spilled food and nasty dog spit (neither of which are easy to clean). This happens several times a day and it's just gross and never seems clean enough. I think that a Steam Storm Elite would keep our house cleaner and chemical free, plus save my sanity and save me from my back pain. More time with my son, less time bent over scrubbing the floor, and everything else in the house that he can reach.

I have a 6 month old puppy that is still not housebroken and I desperately need something to clean my tile floors, so we can get him trained. This would finally help me from getting on my hands and knees to scrub with what doesn't really get it clean, and avoiding the harsh chemicals will help keep my puppy safe. I hope you pick me!

We live in an old house in Philadelphia that has mice, and I want to really be able to clean and sanitize the place before the babies come and after they are here. ReplyDeleteWe are in the process of moving from CT to AZ. My 9 year old who has asthma, was also just diagnosed with Raynaud's phenomenon. We are moving to a warmer area to give him a better quality of life, but it very expenzive right at Christmas time as well. We are going from a house with hard wood floors to an appartment with carpet and to be able to CLEAN everything for him would be AWESOME!
Also on a 'selfish" note...I iron EVERYTHING so the thought of all the ironed clothing in all the boxes needing to now be RE IRONED makes me cringe a bit! {giggle} to be able to STEAM IT ALL and save myself hours of time would be the 'BEE'S KNEES!"
